Welcome to Swipes & Swirls Art, where colour comes alive through the beauty of fluid art. Every piece is carefully handcrafted using acrylic pouring techniques, creating one-of-a-kind abstract paintings that can never be duplicated.
Fluid art — also called acrylic pouring — is painting where the paint itself does the travelling. Acrylic paint is thinned to a flowing consistency, layered into a cup, and poured onto canvas. Then gravity, tilting, swiping and even a breath of air from a dryer coax the colours across the surface.
As the paints move, they react with each other: ribbons marble together, metallic pigments flash like veins of ore, and tiny cells bloom where the colours separate. The artist guides the pour — choosing the palette, the technique and the moment to stop — but the paint always has the last word.
That is the beauty of it: no two pieces can ever be identical. Each painting is a single, unrepeatable moment of colour in motion, sealed under a glossy finish once it has cured.

Designer and mixed-media artist painting timeless acrylic fluid art, with originals and prints for every budget.
I'm a fluid artist working in mixed media, with acrylic paint at the heart of everything I make. I come to each piece as a designer first. I think about colour balance, composition and how a work will sit in a real room, then let the paint flow, tilt and settle into something I couldn't fully plan. Metallic leaf, ink, resin and texture paste add depth where a piece needs it.
I want my work to outlast trends. I choose palettes and forms that feel as right in ten years as they do today, and I finish every piece with archival varnish so the colour holds.
I also believe good art shouldn't depend on your budget. That's why I offer small originals, open-edition prints and large commissions, all made with the same care. Whether it's your first piece of original art or an addition to a collection, I'll help you find something that suits your space and your life.
Every Swipes & Swirls piece begins as liquid: acrylic paint (and sometimes tempera) mixed to a pouring consistency, layered colour over colour, then released onto canvas. Techniques across the collection include Dutch pours tilted across a white “pillow” background, blooms blown out with a hair dryer, and silicone oil worked through the paint to raise intricate cells.
The palettes move like the subjects that inspire them — deep-sea blues, molten bronze and gold, crimson blooms. Because the paint decides the final details, each finished canvas is an original that can never be duplicated, only lived with. The work is offered as small originals, open-edition prints and large commissions, so there is a piece for every space and every budget.
